Meaningful Things Are Hard

For this blog I’d like to pose a thought experiment.

Think of something in your life that you’ve been putting off—something that may be painful, uncomfortable, or hard.

It could be an art peoject that you’ve been procrastinating about. Maybe it’s the book you’ve been thinking about making.

It could be starting that workout plan that you’ve been reading about—but you’re waiting for the right time.

It could be calling someone that you need to apologize to.🙌🏻

It could be quiting a bad habit that’s making you feel weak.

Sometimes the hardest things to do in life are the most meaningful.

So instead of running from your calling—turn around and contend with it.

When you are running you’re prey—when you face your fears, you have a fighting chance.

For me traveling is hard. It goes against my personality and my upbringing. But every time I travel to some new place, I come back a slightly different person. I’ve grown, I’ve learned, I’ve found meaning.

Think about something that’s hard for you to do and do it—that’s where you’ll find meaning.
